A picture is worth a thousand words

This one is worth a closer look.  There's a LOT going on here.  Especially between the one in the boots and the one in the striped shorts.   They're too scruffy and not-in-shape to be gay.  But there's a lot of evident comfort with being next-to-naked and touching each other.
